Days of Fall

A gentle breeze brings fall

The golden brown leaves to dirt and footsteps

The naked branch still clings to air

Skeletal fingers stretch toward grey abyss

See with ease as they tumble

And feel nothing for the fallen

No sorrow from the waiting crow

Or for the tree that blooms again

A brief poem inspired by my day of photography, I hope you enjoy.

    1. Thank you, this was my first serious poem. I know I do the ‘flat poet’ posts, but nothing beats writing something that really means something to me, and to have someone else say it is beautiful means the world.

      1. That is what I wanted to convey, it is all about transition and coming anew. It is great to receive positive feedback by someone I know loves poetry
